AAAM Board Certification training program is open to licensed physicians, regardless of specialty, who are interested in the science of Aesthetic Medicine, and in expanding their practice in that area.
Level 1 Certificate Course is designed for medical doctors looking to get started in facial aesthetics. Course Synopsis:
AAAM’s Board Certification training program is open to
full-fledged licensed physicians, regardless of specialty, who are interested
in the science of Aesthetic Medicine, and in expanding their practice in that
area.
Level 1 Certificate Course in Aesthetic Medicine is a three-day hands-on based
learning program developed to familiarize physicians with basic theories in
Aesthetic Medicine, follow by interactive workshops. Topics included: Botulinum
Toxin A & Filler (basic indications), Chemical Peels, Skin Conditioning,
Lasers, Light & Other Energy Based Devices.
Level 1 Certificate Course is designed for medical doctors and dental practitioners looking to get started
in facial aesthetics. The techniques covered in the training course can easily
be applied in your current clinic settings and you may boost your earnings by
at least 3 to 6 times and at same time achieve patients’ satisfaction.
Course Objectives:
· Evaluate and treat the
aging face
· Review skin types and
appropriate treatments
· Discuss relevant
facial and other anatomy as it relates to aesthetic procedures
· Identify best
practices for patient selection and evaluation, pre- and post-treatment
consultation, informed consent, and complications prevention and management
· Review products on the
market, indications and contraindications for usage

Cancellation
and Refund Policies:
· Note that
refunds or credits for cancellation are not provided after 3 weeks before
course start date
·
If you cancel
prior to 3 weeks before course start date, a USD250 administration charge is
deducted from your paid course registration
·
No fee will be
deducted if credit is transferred to another AAAM event before stipulated date;
credit must be used within one year
·
Full
registration fees are forfeited after the cancellation deadline
·
No-shows are
considered cancellations and any refund or credit is forfeited
·
All refunds must
be requested in writing to jessicamok@aaamed.org before the stipulated date
Force Majeure:
If circumstances occur beyond the reasonable control of either AAAM or the delegate, making it illegal, impossible, inadvisable or commercially impracticable to hold this event, (e.g. curtailment of transportation such as travel bans), AAAM will offer a full refund of paid registration fees.

- Submission of a valid Medical/Dental registration from Medical/Dental
Council is required for course enrolment

Steps
to Course Seat Booking:
Step 1: AAAM Regular Membership:
Most
doctors join AAAM Regular Membership at USD 200 nett for members’ privileged
rates in all AAAM courses. Membership automatically discontinues after one year
with option to renew at same fee. All Members receive a Membership Certificate,
complimentary access to e-journals and newsletters etc. Membership can be
conveniently completed with card payment:

a) First set-up your login details & click “Register New Account”
b) Next enter your details & click “Register”
c) Select “Membership” from menu tab and “Join as Member” to complete application with credit
card payment
d) Upload your valid medical registration from your medical council on same
webpage for membership approval by clicking “Upload my Medical License”
e) Upon successful card transaction, your Member ID is emailed within one
business day
