Level 1 Certificate Course is designed for medical doctors looking to get started in facial aesthetics. Pioneering techniques will be taught covering anatomy and theory followed by extensive hands-on training on training day. Topics include Skin Conditioning, Chemical Peels, Lasers, Botulinum Toxin A and Filler injections (basic indications and techniques). Course Synopsis:

AAAM’s Board Certification training program is open to full-fledged licensed physicians, regardless of specialty and Dental Practitioners who are interested in the science of Aesthetic Medicine, and in expanding their practice in that area.

Level 1 Certificate Course in Aesthetic Medicine is a three-day hands-on based learning program developed to familiarize physicians with basic theories in Aesthetic Medicine, follow by interactive workshops. Topics included: Botulinum Toxin A & Filler (basic indications), Chemical Peels, Skin Conditioning, Lasers, Light & Other Energy Based Devices.


Level 1 Certificate Course is designed for medical doctors and dental practitioners looking to get started in facial aesthetics. The techniques covered in the training course can easily be applied in your current clinic settings and you may boost your earnings by at least 3 to 6 times and at same time achieve patients’ satisfaction.


Course Objectives:

·     Evaluate and treat the aging face

·     Review skin types and appropriate treatments

·     Discuss relevant facial and other anatomy as it relates to aesthetic procedures

·     Identify best practices for patient selection and evaluation, pre- and post-treatment consultation, informed consent, and complications prevention and management

·     Review products on the market, indications and contraindications for usage

·     Discuss how aesthetic procedures are combined safely for maximum patient benefits


Enrollment Criteria:

Open to Medical Doctors regardless of specialty and Dental Practitioners
- Submission of a valid medical/dental registration from your medical/dental council is required for course enrolment


Letter of Credentialing & Privileging (LCP) Application
- LCP Application are relevant to Malaysia Medical Doctors (presently GPs & Specialists) who are expanding their practice in medical aesthetics
- Certificates from AAAM Level 1 Certificate Course & Level 2 Diploma Course are accepted for LCP Application

Step 1: AAAM Regular Membership (valid for 1 year):
Most doctors join AAAM Regular Membership at USD 200 nett for members’ privileged rates in all AAAM courses and congresses. Membership automatically discontinues after one year with option to renew at same fee. All Members receive a Membership Certificate, complimentary access to e-journals and newsletters etc. AAAM Regular Membership can be conveniently completed with card payment:
